I am interested in buying a 96 Dodge ranger splash?

I am interested in purchasing a small truck, It has an extended cab. It has the 2 smal fold out seats. My question is, I have a 7 and 8 yr old daughters. Is it legal for them to sit in the front of the truck. or do I have to seat them on the folded out seats in the back? Needed advice from any parent that has a truck simliar to this.
 
Its a Ford ranger not dodge and in most cases its ok in a truck but my advice would be to contact the motor vehicle bureau and to check state regulations or laws
 
A Dodge Ranger? I don't think so. As long as your kids are old enough to sit without a booster seat and are buckled up, they should be fine.
