utility bills? I have to pay £700 a month for a one bedroom flat. I am tied into a two year contract. Now I rented the property with my boyfriend but we have since split up and now I have to pay the full rent myself. The landlord says he can help me out by allowing me to pay my utility bills separate. He says he charges £100 a month for utility which he says is roughly what it is if a couple are staying there but as a single person I could save money. So how much roughly would the utility bills be? I don't think I pay council tax and if I did it would be band A. The flat is small and modern and if I am VERY careful how much can I get away with paying each month? I live in the city centre of Liverpool
