Hi Everyone,
I am really sorry it has taken me so long to post. I have been.... well lets say really tired and medicated, lol.
Surgery went really well. about 2 minutes before my scheduled surgery my surgeon and I changed the plan and we decided to do a revision to my previous surgery which was a discectomy with a lamonectomy at the L5-S1 level instead of the fusion and I am greatful for that. I am feeling pretty good! Besides the regular after surgery pains
. I have a great surgeon and can't thank him enough.
I still have some recurring pains in my legs every once and a while but I have been assured that this is a normal part of the process. I have been getting muscle cramps and flutters too but all of this is an improvement compared to what I was having. My bowel problems are gone now and I can't stress enough on how greatful I am for that.
So I am off work until Septeraber 2nd and then I can go back in a limited capacity. I am looking forward to starting PT. I am thinking of Aqua PT to start. Something low impact.
Anyhow, thank you all for your continued support and I will keep you all posted on my recovery as it progresses.
