I am having trouble with Swype on my Motorola droid (milestone)!?

I added an apk file of swype 2 my motorola droid, it installed and everything, but then when i bring the keyboard up it says "your trial period has ended, please upgrade your verion of swype". Then i got an apk for an upgrade to beta, the keyboard changed but it still says the exact same thing?? i havent even swyped yet and it looks rlly kool, plzz help me??!?! best answer upon confirmation that the keyboard works
