My computer's new proccessor is under a month old (same monitor) and it had Adobe Flash to begin with, but very recently my Flash quit working and now I can't do very much on my computer. My proccessor is Compaq Presario PC and has Windows Vista on it. HELP!

Start --> Control Panel

Click Classic View

Double-click Programs and Features

Click on the first item that says Adobe Flash Player X Plugin, where X is a version number.

Click Uninstall.

Follow the instructions on-screen to complete the uninstall.

Repeat for all other instances of Adobe Flash Player X Plugin

Use the same uninstall procedure for Adobe Flash Player X Active X

Once all Adobe Flash Player is gone from the Programs and Features control panel, RESTART YOUR COMPUTER. This step is vital.

After restart, go back to adobe.com and reinstall Flash.
