i have a nikon digital camera and i am using a windows xp. i have never had a problem downloading photos from my camera to my computer till now. i even tried to download to another computer and i get the same response the computer cannot detect scanner or camera. make sure device is on and properly connected to the computer. that is what it states exactly. please help me i have been working on this since this morning about 8 hours ago off and on. i even rebooted my pc and reinstall windows cause i thought that was the problem. but it wasnt. i knew i shouldnt let my kids get on my pc. i dont really know how to check the device manager but i do know i have a few yellow questions marks by my devices and i really dont know what that means
