i need some ideas for something funky to wear, or any cool settings or ideas
need to make it look like a magazine shoot!
thanks!

The only thing that will make it look like a magazine shoot is the quality of equipment, lighting, and how skilled the photographer is with that equipment and lighting.
If you are a member of the modeling/fashion communties, network with some of the stylists and see if they will style your shoot in exchane for photos.
If you want to style your own shoot, look @ fashion magazines, and pics online to see what in and what's hot right now. You can get trendy pieces for affordable prices @ the mall or fashion websites.

First you will need to determine what look you are going for. Edgy, rock glamour, urban, swimwear etc. This depends on the market you are trying to appeal too.

Then look for clothing in that arena of fashion. Sharp shoulders are so in right now and photograph quite nicely.

For backdrop ideas, you will need to determine if you want to do an editorial style shoot, or high fashion? Then you can come up with settings and background colors and effects.

Remember, hair and makeup also play a role, and a professional is needed to create a professional shoot.
