Whenever I start to draw I may start off with some lines here or there but I always find myself drawing in details before I finish doing a rough sketch of what I want to do. Like for example, I'm drawing a full body picture and I get the general shape of what I want and before I do a rough sketch of the clothes or whatever, I find myself doing details for the face and what not. Is there any tips or advice that can help me? I've tried doing it all in rough sketch then detailed but I just have the urge to start off with detail. Another thing is that I sketch so hard when I'm suppose to be drawing lightly... Please someone give me some advice if possible. This is probably a really strange situation but I would really appreciate the help.
