My parents think of me as a goody-two-shoes, so imagine the pressure I'm under! I had sex a few weeks ago, but now, it hurts so bad when I use the bathroom, and my bladder feels inflamed! I called my mom (I'm at college) to meet me at the ER.
I'm only 17 (graduated early), and I want to open up to my religious mother. I want to tell her that I have had sex, and I want to be able to talk to her about it. I feel, though, that she'll judge me, or be very disappointed. All of my friends have an open relationship with their mothers about sex, and I want the same with mine.
I need to tell her now because they're going to ask me in the ER, and probably test me for STDs.
