please be honest and tell me waht you think thanks x
My mum drove me in her black Ferrari on my first day of school. It was like something out of the olden days or Simeo sort of vampires Laure with a gothic black and red logo to represent the school. it sent a shiver down my spine; not such a good feeling on my first day of school. My mom and I quickly walked into the unfamiliar school and instantly found ourselves waiting in a queue outside the reception area. I stood nervously, adjusting my multicoloured tie, pondering what was to come. The snooty receptionist appeared from behind the large, oval desk and gestured for me to sit in one of the two empty seats outside the office just as I had properly fixed my tie. Suddenly my mom was gone but not before giving me a brief peck on my forehead as, and there I was alone. Wishing I could be anywhere but here, I just wanted her with me even though she is more likely to embarrass me as usual.
I’ve always thought my old school uniform was ugliest school uniform, the new school uniform looks terrible. yet a quilt of uneasiness embraced me as I thought about the uniform.
The receptionist who spoke to my mum tapped my right shoulder gently twice. As I turned to face her, I did a double take. I was taken aback. I couldn't blink, I was so shocked. Her eyes were small and looked as sweet as honey, bright hazel-brown. Her skin looked as soft as the sky. I stared (not starred, grammatical error) up at her intently. She wasn't wearing high heels, and appeared to be five foot six. I couldn't stop staring, keeping my eyes on her. I glanced down at her hands for awhile, and noticed a silver ring that she was wearing. She was, apparently, engaged.
As she walked me to my new registration class whilst looking at me she smiled and kept walking. It wasn’t a normal smile, Her smile meant something. Her eyes kept on staring at me, she spoke and said
“take care of yourself and if you need someone to talk or if you need help, you know where to come I’ll always be in the office”
I just glanced back at her and put a fake smile on. It was weird, as if she basked in the idea of penetrating my thoughts.
The dark concrete wall was stained and the ground littered with papers and chewing gum. Not exactly the most appealing school out there. In fact, I was quick to label it 'the ugliest school building in the whole WORLD'. I mean, it was even worse than my old school! I’ve always thought my old school was the ugliest looking school in the earth but I guess it Wasn’t. And trust me, that's saying something. The school crest was painted right next to the heavy black doors. It was a red and black logo, gothic-looking.
Chewing gum was stuck all over the corridor and everywhere. The colour of the chewing’s turned all disgusting black.
The receptionist knocked twice on the classroom door, and as she opened the door my heart skipped a beat at the sight of everybody staring at me, I could see sharp eyes narrowing at me. Drops of sweat were trickling my forehead slowly.
As a spine went down my throat the miserable looking teacher spoke and said
“Welcome to your new registration class . My name is Miss Harrison and you are…?”
“Amy.. Amy Dickson” I replied in a soft voice. I was told to take a seat by “Jade” who sat at the back of the room at the corner. By the time I got there I knew she was the bad girl. Her hair was dyed red, blue, black and was very long.
