i am fixing up an old bug...... help i am 13 and this will be my car in a couple.?

well all i know is that i dont have the money to pay for everything. and my parents are going to pay for anything but insurance, help! parts and there costs? plz help i am a girl by the way. but my dad is helpin me fix it up. it needs another paint job too.
it does not have a sun roof,
well it needs new lights and carpet.
and a reciew mirror.
and will u help me figure out price of parts. etc.
 
it hard to tell you a price on parts, but would say shop around, too a use part savage be a great way to get the parts you need,an it wont cost as much for new parts
 
Go to a news stand and look for a VW magazine. They usually have numerous adds from parts suppliers. This will give you a good idea of what repair parts will cost for old bugs. As for a paint job, Check out the local paint shops. If your bug has a good body, hold on to it. They are hard to find these days.
