I am debating if I should join the military or not, so any thoughts?

okay so it is 2009 and the military has changed some. Obama said he would be with drawling troops from the middle east, but I guess he is now sending more over. I really would love joining the Air force but my problem is the fact of being over there at the worst time, I would love to help our country but I feel that this war is being dragged along way too far. My reasons are as follows:
1. I would be able to travel the world and see great things.
2. I could have order and regime in my life.
3. I would get health care.
4. I would get schooling.
but, I just want to know what others may think of this sooooo shoot!
 
im in the same position with the navy.
i really want to but i dont know if its for me.
talk to some people that are in the air force that have the job you want or might find interesting ask them how they like it, the good && bad....
you'll find out what you want.
