I am curious to know why my doctor did not ask me if I wanted the episiotomy?

I guess I probably should of asked while in the hospital, but I was obviously too distracted to think about it then...lol

Anyhow, I see that it is suposed to be a choice....I had to ask if if was even done after giving birth.
