I am continuing to lose weight but I am not trying to

I have lost a total of 65 pounds in 2 months. My doctor really does not have an idea on why. She ran blood tests, initially she said my white cells were just on the border of being low. So she had more blood drawn to check again. According to her it was nothing to worry about like cancer.

That is the first thing people think when a person starts to diminish away....She also mentioned reverse thyroid or something. Still she has very little concern on really diagnosing why? As for me every day my clothes get bigger and bigger on me...I don't know what to do or say next.

If I continue to lose weight like this, that makes me worry they made a mistake and maybe it has something to do with cancer, but now it's to late to help.....what are other reasons for drastic weight loss, loss of sleep?

I had a very very dear person close to my heart pass away suddenly just in July. Maybe subconsiously I am still in denial about it or something....I just don't want to go to sleep one night and not wake up like what happened to him....Please help me!!!

Sounds like maybe you have an overactive thyroid - hyperthyroidism, also called Grave's disease. Thyroid blood tests can diagnose it.

The weight loss is caused by a too fast metabolism.

I certainly would go to another doctor asap. Internal medicine or to someone other than who you are seeing. The only time I lost a lot of weight without trying was caused by my thyroid(hyperthyroid)...I'm not sure what she meant by reverse thyroid? but she should be concerned about your rapid weight loss even if she doesn't think it is cancer...go to someone else. good luck.
