I am buying my first car for college I want a 09 Honda Civic or Toyota Corolla

Which one should I buy? I like both cars but the thing is I can't really decide which one. by the way if I choose Honda Civic it would be the EXL with navigation in it and in Toyota Corolla would be the XRS. I am looking here for reliable, fuel efficiency and cool to drive. I need lots of details ! HELP
