and "block them out", cuz I HAVE TO and say.."Sir or Maam, I am the operator, WHERE can I direct your call? Then sometimes they calm down...But what if they DO NOT...should I just listen, and say "I understand,,,then say.."I'm sorry, but I need to place you on hold to get these other calls?" or what...People they are sooo DEMANDING...Don't they REALIZE they are just talking to the operator...even when I try to pronounce the word OPERATOR loudly???? please honest answers!!!
