I am a single mother of 2 and after my divorce I decided to go back to college. I didn't want to send my children to a babysitter so I decided to do online, but now I am a full time student and do not work at the moment. Does financial aid help pay for living expenses? and if yes, how much? I qualified for 5500.00 in Pell grant and I got a notice from sally mae foundation and they gave me financial aid of 9,355.00. I don't know if this is the same thing as the FAFSA because I filled out that application also. I called my financial aid advisor but she has yet to call me back so hopefully someone here can help me.
I am an online student, does financial aid still cover living expenses?
