Hi all,
I am a English learner, I enjoy learning English.
But my English is very poor, and I didn't have an English teacher, I learn English by myself, today I showed my writing to one of my acquaintance. He told me that my grammar is terrible, but because he is very busy, he didn't tell me how to correct my article, can you help me? Thank you very much.( For an exchange I can teach you Chinese or Japanese if you want :) )

Here's what I wrote below, please don't laugh at me.

When it comes to the choice of living on campus or living off campus, some people deem that living off campus is more desirable, but from my perspective, living on campus would has its own advantages.

Firstly, to live off campus could be more economical. Here in my country, government provides financial aids every year for colleges in order to relieve students’ pressure on money, hence the cost of living and eating inside the universities can be remarkably cheaper than that out of the colleges. For instance, dormitory fees in our college are only 1500 RMB per year for one student while the apartments in the equal size around our college generally cost 1000 RMB to 3000 RMB per month. So living on campus enables students to save a great amount of money which can be invested on many other things, such as the purchase of reference books, paying for the examination fees of Bar Exam.

Secondly, living on campus would provide students a more ideal atmosphere for study. Students who live in the dormitories would have more chances to discuss academic problems with their professors and their friends, thus they could have more opportunities to widen they horizon on their specialty via these interactions. Besides, easy access to the college library which contains thousands of books and study rooms which are clean and quiet would also be some other merits for the students who want to focus on their study. On contrary, such wonderful circumstance for study can be hardly found off campus. Therefore, students who live out of the universities have to spend lots of time and cost lots of energies heading for their colleges. As a result, when they finally reached the school library, they tend to be exhausted/ stretched out and have no more mood or time to devote to their study.

Of course it cannot be denied that living off campus would have some strength, too. For example, people who enjoy cooking can make meals and share the dishes with friends in their own places. In addition, students can also live with their girl friend or boy friend out side the colleges while neither cooking in the dormitory buildings nor living with people of other sex is permitted in our dormitories.

Considering that students’ main duty is to study hard without extravagance, the virtues of living on campus seem to play more significant roles than that of living off campus, which lay stress mainly on the enjoyment of life.

From what has been discussed above, we could easily draw the conclusion that living on campus is better than living off campus, although both of them have their own strong points.
