I am a waitress at a corporate restaurant, and I feel like I am being treated unfairly?

There was a guest complaint online, saying that their experience was not worth the $25 spent, and that they won't be coming back. The only thing they mentioned involving my name, was saying that I seemed scattered, as if I had too many tables. My boss' issue is that a guest left unhappy, but sometimes those things are out of my control. I do what I can to the best of my ability, for I am just one person. My general manager took away all of my scheduled shifts for the week and suspended me, leaving me with no income while I have numerous bills to pay. There are so many factors to what it is that could have really happened, such as the manager on duty not taking care of the issue at the time it was happening, it could easily be a fake-complaint considering the fact that there is no proof or name, theres also a chance that I tried to help my guest and they simply weren't buying it, who knows?

I just want to know if it was legal of my GM to suspend me, without warning, especially the fact that this was my very first complaint after working there for over a year.
