i love to write poetry. here is a few samples

Smile
A lovely day means a smile
I dearly hope it stays a while
For a smile means a happy soul
And not a heart as a deep dark hole



Darkness

Deep in the shadows where ones eyes can not see
Is a power so Precious and near to thy
It carries on right through the night
Hides when near to bright light
Yes, darkness, my friend, is the thing I behold
Yet found nowhere near my glowing soul


You might see i have my own way of writing. any ideas to fit my style?
 
I really like it , it's creative and fresh! I have no ideas though lol
