I am a new photographer and i ask you for assistance in using a dmc-l10

panasonic lumix ... please ...? well .... this summer i joined a recording studio in my town and they gave me a camera to take shots .... it was a cannon eos9 i think and i simply felt in love with it and with the art of photography. But this please lasted a few months because after this the put me to use a video camera and not because i wasn't good with a camera but because they needed some more men there but i didn't want to and wtv ... you know who is the boss ... but the fortune smiled to me and a few days later i have spotted in a drawer a camera ... it was this panasonic lumix dmc-l10 ... well i have cleaned it as much as i could as a beginner because it was full of dust and had no recharger and ... well it was bad but is my first camera and i like it so now i'm looking for a recharger and it is damn hard to find one ... wtv the first question is how can i clean it better ... i mean i have cleaned the dust just from outside but what about the lens how can i clean them too??? another question is what means RAW format??? another question will be what should i look after to see if the camera is broken because is second-hand and it might not work very well and he last two questions are is it normal for the lens to make shadow when the flash goes off ... i mean i have it's standard flash and when i take a shot with no zoom somewhere at buttom you can see the lens ... and the last question how can i become a better photographer??? thanks for your answers i hope i didn't ask too many questions.
