I am 20 Years old & not too fit. Is it too late for me to learn Martial Arts?

Of course not.

To end a confrontation as quickly as possible is the goal of most martial arts.

Research a few martial arts and see what you like. Attend a few classes and see which one you like the best.

On a side note, your going to want to exercise to lose some weight. Trust me, nothings worse than being tired in the middle of a sparring match.

The combination of training in your martial art and exercising will make you healthier and have a better chance of protecting yourself.
 
I would also like to learn a VERY defensive Martial, to end a confrontation as quickly as possible, with as little violance/injury as possible. I was thinking Aikido or Judo, But any other ideas would be greatly appreciated.
