...college. Also...? I am a 16 year old girl living in a rural Alabama town. I have recently started thinking of joining the National Guard to help pay for college (I want to attend a college in Philadelphia). The thing is, I really want to major in fine arts/animation for college. Does that make a difference concerning the National Guard?
Also, my family doesn't very well support me and I've never done any sort of extra thing. Ive never participated in sports, dance, and rarely even join any clubs at school, though Ive always wanted to do these things. The problem is I have asthma and am so clumsy I can probably be considered disabled. Im forgetful and ditsy and never considered myself the type of person to be a leader. My sister even laughed at me when I said I was thinking about joining. I don't think I'm strong. People tell me all the time they never pictured me in the National Guard and that I wont be able to do it. So I'm afraid the National Guard isn't for me... What should I do?
