Hey I am 5 feet tall and weight about 94 pounds. Today morning while I was cooking scrambled eggs for my boyfriend I started to feel very strange. At first I felt sick to my stomach I was looking at the eggs in my pan and I felt like I was going to vomit. Few seconds after that I was feeling dizzy, my vision was bad I saw black spots like I would see only dark for a second then I could see for another and then dark again on top of that I got extremly hot and it wwas hard for me to breath I was breathing very shallow my ears kept ringing inside i thought I was going to faint I leaned on the stove I could not handle to stand anymore my boyfriend helped me to walk towards a chair he said my eyes were rolling back and I got extremy pale. I could not walk on my own. Once in the chair after few minutes I was feeling ok I was still a little pale. I have never had something like that happen to me . Maybe its because of the diet I have been on for a year and a half now I have been counting my daily calorie intake I eat about 1300 to 1600 calories pper day I vary my amounti eat healthy soy milk fruit fish nuts chicken rice some ice cream once a week or a piece of candy.yesterday I had two glasses of milk and a bunch of pistachios for breakfast followed by a granola bar for lunch then fish rice and vegetable for dinner and little icecream sprinkled with peanuts for dessert then a peach. Did I faint because of my eating habbits? I got scared when this happened to me this morning.

Sounds like you eat ok. Any chance you got a bad headache after? I get terrible migraines and this sometimes happens to me before the headache - sometimes as long as the day before. What about the time of the month? That will do it to me also - OR any chance you're pregnant? I don't think you mentioned your age so just throwing some stuff out there for you. Hope you're feeling better.

1300-1600 Calories per day should be adequate to keep you from fainting provided you are getting a balanced diet, which it appears you are.

I'd be more inclined to think that it is either viral or possibly hormonal. If there is a possibility you could be pregnant, you should check for that, otherwise there are viruses that can cause that. I've had a couple viruses that only caused dizziness and near-fainting with no other symptoms.

If it happens again, I'd speak to a doctor about it. And be cautious if you choose to drive!

I am sure I am not pregnant I'm 20 but my period ended two days ago so it is not possible but the night before I had a terrible migraine on the left side of my head and "behind" my left eye.

Well it may be that your migraine isn't done with you yet (unfortunately) - I would not be surprised if it returned tonight or tom. I sometimes get them like this for 5 days or more and no matter how often it happens it's scary. If this has not happened to you before (aura w/migraine) I would go to the doctor just to be on the safe side.

ntizzie: On top of what everyone else suggested, have your blood sugars checked to make sure you're not becoming a T1 diabetic. Some of the symptoms you mentioned are low blood sugar symptoms - dizziness, vision problems, anxiety, headaches and more. You can be diagnosed with T1 diabetes up to around 30 years old. The diet probably is playing a part in this too. There's also Reactive Hypoglycemia which you don't have to be a diabetic to have. It's just low blood sugars. People that have it have to carry glucose tablets, candy, etc. with them in case they feel shaky and dizzy.

The other thing to worry about is whether or not it could have been a seizure! You don't want that!! It's not fun!! Keep a log of when these things happen. I hate to say it but Mon. was the full moon!!!! Crazy things go on during the full moon in my head! ER's are the busiest right around the full moon. Good luck
