I accidentely killed some cats in my garden - Will I get into trouble for it?

I accidentally dropped some chicken with antifreeze on it and some of the local cats that kept sh*tting in my garden died from it. Will I get into trouble for it as it was an accident albeit a very suspicious one?
I was carrying chicken to feed my dog and my antifreeze dropped and spilled on it. i just took my dog inside and forgot about it.
