I’m going to be a Social Studies teacher (political science major) how can I learn...

...US History & Facts? My knowledge of US History is surprisingly limited (I like politics and how government works a lot better) and as a social studies teacher I think I should know a little. I’m not going to graduate yet and I will take US History 1 and 2 in college. Beyond that how can I learn more without taking too much time away from my other classes? The test I need to pass for teacher certification is also 40% US History so I need to know it for that too.

read a book on american history or try n read a little everyday on net...itz so simple
