Hey all! Anybody here get hyperpigmentation on scars? Would you be up to sharing a bit about it?
I'm curious because I started getting this all of a sudden six months ago. I'm 20, and I've always healed white, or maybe red if the cut was really bad... but now any little nick enRAB up brown. Just before this started, something REALLY stressed me out. I was still pretty messed over for a few months, and I hear that stress can cause hyperpigmentation to happen. Everything's been better for a few months now, though, and I'm still healing brown.
So, I'm wondering - could the stress have been a "trigger", and now that it's come, the pigmentation's here to stay? Or am I just at a good age to start getting this? Or maybe it's just random?
