I was reading some other posts and they listed these as some possible side effects for hydrocodone withdrawl:

Hi

The yawning comes as the respiratory system is repairing itself. It was in retrospect when I was withdrawing that I realized I hadn't yawned in years. They started out as half yawns and that was annoying. I can actually remeraber when the first real yawn hit and I was so very happy. My respiratoty system was finally becoming fully functioning again after having been so depressed during the drug use.

I am not sure what causes the running eyes, but I also remeraber that. It is also very common for the eyes to not "see" quite right at first. I thought I needed stronger glasses, but it was only a symptom of healing from the drug use and eventually they focused better again.

Welcome Brosiah and thanks reachout for that explanation of the yawning - I didn't know that. I honestly don't remeraber if I yawned during my dependency. But, yawning was the first withdrawal that I experienced coming off of Percocets that alerted me that I might be having withdrawals, and YES it was very annoying!!

Everyone experiences withdrawals in a different manner, because everyone's body is different. It also depenRAB on how much of the drug you were taking and for how long. Other w/d's that you may experience are the achy muscles, hot and cold flashes, vomiting, diarrhea, rushing brain, to name a few. They are part of the body repairing itself and re-establishing the endorphin paths in the brain. Hydrocodone and Oxycodone repress the production of the natural endorphins in your body and it takes time for the brain to repair itself and start naturally producing them again.
