What are the withdrawal symptoms of hydrocodone and how long do they last after being on this drug for three years?

aches, the runs, depression, fatigue, insomnia, dont feel like eating, but can be a little different for everybody. how many mg's are you taking per day?

I was on hydrocodone for 3 years. I took maybe 4-6 a day of the 10/500's. Eleven days ago I decided enough was enough and went cold turkey. It took until day 8 for me to feel good again. For me it was more like the flu. Restless legs at night and leg cramps in my muscles and joints, that was the worse for me so I took 5-7 baths a day. I also had mild hot/cold flashes. I never got the diarhea. But I also had lack of sleep. The legs and sleep for me were the hardest part. But as I said on day 8 all my withdrawals were gone and I felt good. Today is day 11 and I feel like a brand new person.
It can be different for everyone but for me honestly, the fears I had of the withdrawal was so much worse than the withdrawals were. Best of luck to you. You can do it, just stay strong and focused.

For me the worst was not being able to sleep, restless legs syndrome and diarrhea. They last about a week with days 2-4 being the worst and you should start to feel much better by day 5! Good luck!
