I've been having post-inguinal hernia surgery complications. It seems I've developed a hydrocele that is getting larger little by little...yet my spermatic cord is very swollen as well, so i'm not sure if I have a varicocele or both. If somebody could clear this up for me, that would be great!
Anyhow, due to this, I was very ill for 2 months shortly thereafter with stroke like symptoms. I was not digesting or absorbing food as well. The proof was in my feces. Once i started feeling slightly better the digestion/nutrient absorption problem still persisted. Only instead of feeling very sick, I started losing my hair in a male pattern baldness way, but much too quickly. It was thin from the front to the crown. I am only 25 years old. i can now pull my chest hair our fairly easily, and that on my arms, this must be due to my malabsorption of nutrients. My hair is not getting the fibers to live.
Now my question is: Once I get my problem corrected by surgery, is my hair likely to grow back?
I've never heard of a hydrocele/varicocele causing these kinds of problems, but I'm definitely not imagining them.
