My husband has a drinking, drug and gambling problem to be frank up front. He owes thousands of dollars and lost his vehicle years ago. WE are using one car MINE titled to ME only and he has been saying stuff like "I am selling your car.." etc...He takes it and hides it so I don't know where it is. I found a for sale sign he is using when i am at work and he has it. I know he is trying to sell my car for money then I have no car! My question: what can I do about that? I am not signing the title over but i am afraid he will sign my name to it! I mean I can't prosicute my husband for auto theft and forgery on that???? What can i do can a spouse do that to a car in your name?
