husband charged with sex crime?

Almost a year ago, my 14 year old cousin accused my husband of sexual assault while she was on sleeping medication, ambien, and I was in the other room sleeping. Since then life has turned into a nightmare. I do not know who to believe. This case is still pending and if convicted he could face up to 15 years or he could be deported considering he is not a citizen. During this time I have tried to believe my husband and stuck by him, however, in my heart I always had doubts if he is being honest. This is the worst dilemma to live with. I hear they have found some evidence against him from dna. We separated about two weeks ago due to all the stress this has brought upon us. I do not know how to deal with this situation as it has honestly ruined my life. Does anyone have any advice on how to move on with my life or? I would try counseling, but I can not afford it. We also have 2 children together
 
I would say continue what you are doing for the time being. However if he is found guilty by the court or even if you begin to doubt him, leave him forever. Sex offenders are the most dangerous of all criminals. especially around children.

Also ask yourself what possible reason could your cousin have for lying about such a thing. Your heart will reveal to you the truth about what happened.
 
If they found your husbands DNA inside of her, he is pretty much toast

I don't know what he is claiming, but even if his defense was that it was consensual, he more than likely broke the law since she is only 14
