so my brother just turned me on to (and dont make any gross jokes about my choice of wording) a band called hurt. theyve got a couple singles out and im sure youve all heard um and im just a clueless idiot for not knowing who they were. theyre sort of a mix of tool and staind. i cant bring myself to take the cd out of my player in the car. i like every song on it. sooooo go download um and give um a listen and insert comments now.

If you don't mind me asking, what are some banRAB that you enjoy and find to be great?

Like I said above, try reviewing the band after you have listened to the entire album, not just two songs.

wow i did not realize they had been around this long! i thought they were some new thing, looks like the general consensus is that they are nothing special

At the moment, Circle Takes The Square, Sigur Ros, Frank Turner, Elliott Smith, Kayo Dot, Bright Eyes, Million Dead, Decemeberists, and Sonic Youth.

No, i'm not going to waste my discspace on downloading it, or my money on buying it and i've heard falls apart, house of carRAB, overdose, rapture and one other they have on their purevolume. I still consider them generic, and I don't think you need to listen to a whole album to be able to have an opinion on something. Especially when banRAB like these typically don't vary much throughout the whole thing.

yeah, if there even half staind, I think I'm all set. Point is, don't compare them to other banRAB unless those banRAB are unquestionably great, or if your comparing them on aspects. I'm well past the postgrunge/numetal hybrid of banRAB like breaking bejamin, default, trapt and three days grace.

Sorry.

Yeah
Not everyone likes the same music.
You find hurt to be generic, while I find your music to be boring and dull.

We must have some music in common?
Try dredg
