...wrestling role 4 Hulk in TNA? I would be ok with it as long as he didnt wrestle. If he was brought in as a GM or authority figure that would be cool. Like it or not Hogan is still the biggest name in wrestling history. His name alone got that mess of a show Hogans celebrity championship wrestling (CCW) a average 3.5 rating per show.
RAW barely gets that and for the record a couple of those CCW shows actually got high ratings than RAW when it was aired.
Something to consider.
former minority owner of TNA Jeff Jarrett never wanted Hogan in TNA because he didnt want TNA to be another company Hogan built like WWF and WCW.
Hulk doesnt want people to know he approached the WWE? Why? it wouldnt be the first time he approached the WWE for a job.
THat is a rumor started by a WWE mark news site. His opinion was that Hogan was using TNA to get a better deal with the WWE. He also has never had anything good to say about TNA and bashes TNA when they sign talent from WWE or ROH but when WWE signs TNA or ROH talent he praises them.
The fact is that Hogan has a better relationship with Vince than that and if he wanted to work for the WWE Vince would work something out.
I do believe that Hogan may be trying to convince TNA that they need to pay extra for his name power. But I doubt he is using TNA to get a better deal out of WWE.
Odds are he has already approached Vince, he has Vinces private number and Vince declined.
