Here is the post I have from 2 different sites.... I am reposting here because it appears that there are intelligent people who care enough to reply and try their very best to help... unlike a few other sites I have tried to get help from (PALMONE.com & WW.com)

NEW T5 will NOT fully sync - needs hotsynclog20.dll - FURIOUS w/TERRIBLE PALM customer servc!!!!!!!!! 6:29 PM
I am beyond angry with customer service. 2 hours later.... I spent my entire time ON HOLD OR telling the exact same personal info over and over--- hung up on during 4-5 different transfers... no callbacks-
THAT STINKS!!!!!!!!!!! bad bad service!!!!!!!! really really inexcusable on PALMONE's part! SHAME ON YOU!
anyway.... I just bought my $400 brand new Tungsten T5 yesterday and have had a MISERABLE TIME TRYING TO SYNC!

When I realized something wasn't not starting up right (before yesterday I Was syncing JUST FINE with my Tungsten E)with my new T5 install and hotsync I removed EVERYTHING PALM from my PC.... then reinstalled JUST the new PALM T5 installation CD.
looked at the sites for updates = but apparently I am cool with that.
but at start up I was getting errors... 2 of them. can't remember both... but one was the hotsynclog20.dll or something... STILL GETTING THAT!!!!!!!!!!
I had to use the XP pro's auto driver search to get the hotsync talking with my palm! it was there and running- but wouldn't talk to the T5 at all! check my hotsync settings. all was good there too!!!
FINALLY the XP pro auto installed my drivers because it "found new hardware" (my plugged in new T5) and found my hotsync driver and I did a hotsync!
now the hotsync kinda sucked. didn't talk to my PALMdesktop. but it did do the QUICK INSTALLS that I had.
12 trys later- still the same issue
then I opened the PALM DESKTOP and poof! the calendar, addybook and media. etc... all updated and synced.
but still getting the .dll error from above.
trying to get ADOBE READER for palm installed adn when I run the install it stops and says that hotsynclog20.dll is MISSING
STILL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
HELP......
then the following issue is also KILLING ME! and Weightwatchers will NOT HELP! they say STRICTLY PALM ISSUE!!

ALSO an issue with a PALM PARTNER who points you DIRECTLY to PALMONE.com to get answers....

I had a tungsten E and just upgraded to a Tungsten T5.
I installed the new software with the T5
and reinstalled the WW on my PC and my handheld.
set up everything correctly on the handheld....
and then a try to sync my palm (by the way- it does show as a conduit in my hotsync custom area)
my palm syncs as usual... then cleans up and moves into the WW OTG sync.
the screen for syncing (the IN kb and OUT kb stuff) comes up and shows that it is ready to go....
but NOTHING happens on the computer. so I can't sync.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled 5 times now....
WHAT GIVES????????????????
your site specifically states that your software works with T5 now BUT you direct us to PALMONE.com for any problems!
palm 1.com doesn't even respond!!!!!!! you just sit on hold and get hung up on!
no one wants to help!!!!!!!!
