Huge pro-Lebanon rally in SF and LA?

Ya know, many American citizens have died over the years to give people in this country the right to free speech and the right to assemble and what not. I'm glad we live in a country that allows peaceful demonstrations and doesn't just round them up and shoot them because their ideas don't mesh with the government.

However, stopping traffic is not peaceful. It interferes with peoples lives and hurts their arguments. All of these protesters should be arrested for that reason and that reason only.

I don't agree with their protest but they have the right (under our constitution) to peacefully protest.

Last week in NYC there was a small protest claiming Israel are terrorists, and US needs to stop supporting Israel.

I was so pisst and it made me sick to my stomach when I saw it, most of the protestors were college kids who probably don't know how good they have it and how many people died for their freedom to be able to protest like that

You think wrong. If Hezbollah didn't exist or didn't do stupid shit to make trouble this war wouldn't have happened and Hezbollah's ~1,000 victims would still be alive.

What the fuck is the connection between people dying for their freedom to protest and the policy of supporting a foreign state with free weapons? Can you even explain this? I'm thinking no?

This is how conservative thought works. Emotion bridges great gaps in logic.
