My husband and I took our 2000 dodge caravan in to have an oil change 2 days ago. The shop we go to does a full car inspection with the oil change and upon payment they warned us that they had noticed a SMALL oil leak and that we would soon need to return so they could shampoo the engine and figure out where the leak was coming from. We had never noticed a leak on the pavement in our underground parking spot so this was news to us.
Well, this evening we walked downstairs and discovered a HUGE puddle of oil on the front passenger side of the car. We are taking it in to be checked out tomorrow but i have been forwarned by friends that price is based on where the leak is coming from.
Does anyone have an idea what could be leaking on the front passenger side? And yes, we know for sure that it is oil.
