I need to validate a personal website and i keep receiving this error:

Many Document Types based on XML need a mandatory xmlns attribute on the root element. For example, the root element for XHTML might look like:
<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">
And this is the beggining of the index.html
