Html to link pictures in a new window?

On my blog I want to have a thumbnail of a picture that links to the larger picture. I've done this, but the only problem is it opens the picture on the same page (ie going away from my blog)
Could anyone tell me a way to do it so that the larger picture opens in a seperate window?
