hi, I have been a self-taught at HTML for a number of years, and I understand a lot of stuff, but I have a college project that is due sunday night and I just figured I'd try to get some help.
WHAT IT IS, IS...I got a template that I was able to fashion for my purposes. it's pretty simple. there is a large area on the right intended for text.
On the left I have a column style table deal, with all td,tr,height, width, cells and all that jazz that I don't quite understand how to manipulate I have tried and tried but I can't figure out how to do what i'd like to do.
ok, on this left side table thing, there is an area I have that I want to keep just where it is at the moment. they are just jumper links with text appearing to indicate where the quick link will jump.
HOWEVER, the column that these occupy extends from the top to the bottom of the page, which I want.
but I what I want to do is to continue to add pictures going down the rest of the column. I have one pic above the LINKING area and one pic below, I was able to do that anyway.
but there is so much extra blank space running down from the second picture to the bottom, that I don't see why I can't find a way to add some pix running down the left side.
I'M SURE FOR SOMEONE WHO UNDERSTANDS THE TABLE ATTRIBUTES WELL, THIS IS A SIMPLE PROBLEM, SO I'M HOPING THAT MAYBE SOMEONE COULD DO A ''VIEW SOURCE'' ON MY PAGE to see if there is some simple advice and methods you could suggest....or that you know will work.

I may have made it sound more confusing than it is, and a quick look might easily show what I want to do. I just want to add more pics running down the left side. But all my table manipulations and stuff just screw it up each time. I don't know if I need to extend the table , use new tr or td tags, or whatever.... I'm really lost on this part
