Ok people I'm not that fimilar with the whole cop and paste the HTML thing but i've got this website and I really need a search engine for it. So I found decent free one called Freefind. Now I selected the search engine that opens on the same page as the page your on on my website, except to do it you need to paste 2 HTML codes seperately. Here's exactly what they say:
This panel requires that you paste two different snippets of HTML into your page.
The first piece of html contains the scripts and divs needed to show results on the same page as the search box. It should be pasted into your page right after your <body> tag.
The second piece of html forms the search box itself. You will want to paste this piece of html into your page whereever you want the search box to appear.
Copy this HTML and paste into your page right after your <body> tag
My questions and problems: What the hell is a <body> tag?
On my website it won't open like it said it would, it opens on the page, instead of in a kind of window thing.
