html - refresh the page with different images?

in the html page, a tag <img src="http://www......jpg"> is referred to a image. how can i let the page automatically refresh with another refering image being displayed? Use no matter what PHP/HTML/JS.

Can the codes implemented in php? because i wanna implement it in ajax later for refreshing the image ONLY without the whole page.
