I recently got a new theme on tumblr and I'm having trouble centering stuff? I tried editing the html stuff myself and adding the <center> </center> stuff but it won't work.

How could you get the links to pages in bullet form to be aligned next to each other like this:
-Example -Example -Example -Example ?
And how would you get the navigation bar at the bottom to be centered in the middle of the page instead of off to the left?
Blahhh, I feel stupid. Whatever help is helpful.
