HTML Link HREF Question?

Okay, so I have been developing a little app, and am having problems with my coding between JavaScript and HTML. My app is @ http://www.drivehq.com/file/df.aspx/publish/matalaweb/host/index.htm and what it is supposed to do is, when you type in a URL it will make a link out of it. But, when I was testing it, my link would go to www.drivehq.com/file/df.aspx/publish/matalaweb/host/<SUBMITTED URL> Any help would be great. Thanks
