HTML Help: How To Make Text Appear When Link Clicked?

I was wondering how I can make a large block of text 'appear' and 'disappear' when the title is clicked or hovered over (depending which is easier). It'd need to be HTML really rather than CSS, unless there's a way to make CSS work in the description box (which works in HTML) on Tumblr?
