HTML - FOLDER CODE??

Hi there

i am making a webpage for college

and the folder is muddled up everywhere as in hard to find things lie pictures and other links

i have allready linked some of my work onto it and if i sort it out and put things into folders the link dosnt work.

is there a code in html. to let it know that the works in a folder

i dont no what to do

please help if you can
