HTML Code Help, Page Auto Reload?

i was wondering, i am doing a website and i have a quick question about the html code. after i do the changes in the code, lets say i update a date or something on the site itself, after i save it, update the site and go onto the website in a new browser the date doesn't change, in fact nothing changes unless i press F5 (refresh). i was wondering if there is a line of code that i have to implement so it would refresh itself automatically.
