HTC XV6900 Stuck On align Screen?

Everything I read say I need to delete the welcome file but I am unable to find it. The device only shows up on my computer occasionally. I have gone through the alignment process hundreds of times. Please, the phone isn't under warranty. I need to fix it. I just need to know where the welcome screen is.
