My HTC Touch Pro phone from CelluarSouth has stopped working. It takes forever to load, but when it does, it freezes on the HTC home page. The only thing I can do is go through the Start Menu, but still only a few programs will load. I try to go to Comm Manager because the Phone icon says No Service and the Data Connection is turned off. I tried to turn them both on. The phone goes to On but the phone still can't place calls in or out. The Data Connection goes to a configuration screen and then just gives me an annoying color wheel. My Contacts won't load but when I go to Text Messaging and key in the first letter of a name the Contact name comes up. The phone freezes on every screen for long periods of time, but the phone has basically just stopped working. None of the vital functions work. No phone calls, text messaging, or internet service.
I took it to a phone repair store and they told me they would replace the antenna. They then told me I have corrupt software. Please help !!
