I bought this phone in November, 2008. The touchpad stopped working a couple of days ago. Since, this phone does not have a keypad, the only thing I could do was receive calls. I removed the old screen protector and cleaned the seam - didn't work. I did a couple of soft resets which didn't seem to work either. So, I decided to do the hard reset hoping this would fix the problem. But now I am stuck!!! When the mobile powers up, the screen flashes on with this message - "Windows Mobile Version 6.1 - Tap the screen to set up your Windows Mobile-based device." Well, the problem is I can't tap the screen since the touchpad is not working!!! So, now I can't even receive calls because my mobile won't even power up!! I don't know what to do regarding this. Is there another way to do the hard reset? How can I power up my mobile and get the touchpad working? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
